A Taste of Life

Definition:
compromise - a settlement of differences by mutual concessions; an agreement reached by adjustment of conflicting or opposing claims, principles, etc., by reciprocal modification of demands.

Quotes:

  1. For everything you have missed, you have gained something else, and for everything you gain, you lose something else.
  2. Compromise, if not the spice of live, is its solidity. It is what makes nations great and marriages happy.
  3. Don't compromise yourself. You are all you've got.
  4. There are three ways of dealing with difference: domination, compromise, and integration. By domination only one side gets what it wants; by compromise neither side gets what it wants; by integration we find a way by which both sides may get what they wish.

Life is all about compromises... well, that's a fact! not only in relationships but in principles and integrity of one. Hmmm, thinking of the quotes written: I've been through Quote1, have not experienced Quote2, violated Quote3, & hoping for Quote4! hahahahaaa is that stupidity or comical?

Someone once said that relationships are all about compromising one another... adjusting to the other person needs. So if one day you wake up and you find that you can't compromise anymore, then its time to part. --> I don't buy this thought... maybe its because it sounds sad. Sad that though I know it may be true, but then I've always have this thought that there is SURE something to it that there can be a settlement. Well, what do you think?

Compromise has its limitations. Its either you give in or you take the win. Result: I chose to give. I have compromised alot in the past few years... some were regretful while the rest were worth while. For me, as long as I know that the end result will have the other person feeling better, then its worth. Don't ask about what I feel... it doesn't matter.

I'm not an angel though! I might have put some into situations where they had to compromise me alot yet not realizing it myself. So, I just wanna say SORRY if I really was a pain in your butt.

Conclusion: Any exclusions in gaining a win win basis? Integration it is~ and I guess I really realllyyy have to work on that :):)
