'Our Agreement'

I had to post this as it is my 1st friendly agreement written on paper!

It all started when my car's butt got kissed in a jam; bout 2weeks ago. My small little kancil needed to go to the workshop to get a new butt (bumper) and I needed transport to get to work.

To cut the story short, my dear colleague was kind enough to come all the way to my housing area to pick me up. But I was 'um ho yi si'. So, I offered to buy lunch in return. My offer wasn't accepted Verbally, Pinky Promise was said to be too childish and Web Email was so happened to be down... Hence, I had to resort to force agreement on paper!

This was 'Our Agreement'... Written, Signed & Sealed!

My colleague stamped his thumbprint on the paper using some sticky substance found in the refrigerator; eeeuUU~ Gross!

It couldn't really be seen. So signature was forced upon. Wakakakakaa I'm bad, I know :p

Finally, agreement SEALED!

Picture was taken just incase it is secretly destroyed before agreement is being carried out!

In the end, 'Our Agreement' was fulfilled without any dispute. And I guess I should do this more often to this nice, humble colleague & friend of mine. (...more agreements to come ok?!...)

Anyway, Thanks pal. I appreciate it! *HuggsSS* ;)

Church On Fire

On the 29th July, 8pm... I received an sms.

"Church on fire now. Please activate prayer link." (...not the exact words...)

& there goes... Gosh~ really ar? okkk... forward sms! pray pray!... keeping my fingers crossed.

The fire was real. It burnt up our video room. All our video equipment was gone, our ministry bulletin board gone! the place was all wet, soot everywhere!

But above all, HE knew. HE saw. and HE took care of it!

I rarely testify, but this is one that I know was truly the hands of God.

Why? Read on...

1) A fully equipped fire brigade was petrolling around the neighbourhood when the fire broke out.
(Have you ever heard of fire brigades doing their rounds? ...FULLY Equipped somemore!)

2) No one knew about the fire. All church staff went home, guards were unaware. Fire chief was in the fire brigade and he saw the smoke... and he instantly recognises that it was a fire.
(Fire experts. They are able to identify what kind of smoke was that!)

3) Fire chief quickly calls back to their quarters thinking that someone must have called and reported... but NO ONE answered the call!
(Gosh~ imagine if we tried calling for help... sure nothing but ashes left!)

4) When no one picked the call, without hesitation, Fire chief headed towards the smoke. Fire alarm & sprinklers went off just as the fire brigade reached church.
(How often do you hear that firemen reaches before fire alarm goes off?)

5) Just as the firemen arrived and alarm went off, the guards only noticed the fire. Fyi, the guards were Napalese but so happen, the supervisor was there too and he was a local. The supervisor then called & informed the church staffs.
(...it would be difficult for the Napalese guards to call the church staffs as they weren't local)

6) Firemen did their job fast & thank God it was only the video room.
(Video room was a level higher than the wooden flooring & curtains were by the side... One can only imagine what would happen if the curtains caught fire or if the video room was the same level as the flooring!)

7) Oh! Not forgetting, the office was on the roof. Thank God, above the video room was just the roof and nothing else. The church office was just right beside it!
(Someone told me lil' Lynette was praying "God, not the church office... not our cabin... please Pleasee PLeasSEEE!!! Well, HE did answer her prayer! weeEEE!!!)

8) On the night itself, the forensic team came and it was no other than the Fire Chief himself! He found the cause of it & cleaning work progressed the morning after.
(It usually takes 21days or more to get a fire forensic team to investigate and close the case before they allow cleaning work to be done. And this only took them few hours!)

9) Cleaning and repair work began the next day... From what I heard, the whole sanctuary was soaked with 1.5 inches of water and soot covered the whole place; chairs, equipments, ceiling... And guess what?!!! Saturday, 2nd August 4:30pm, evening service commenced as usual.
(3.5 days of cleaning & basic repairs. All I can say is... WOW!!! Super fast cleaning & super fast repairs! Trust me, not easy. Soot = really fine black particles. I was there cleaning our little room & its amazing how it got in; through the small openings of the closed door. eeEEE!!!)

10) Our ministry bulletin board was the one and only board collapsed to give way to the firemen to get into the sanctuary. And our pastor calmly told us... "Our board no more already! New board for new Beginning!"
(*pengsan* hahahahaa)

I took pics of the work-in-progress & finished 'look' on Saturday...

Renovation Work-In-Progress on Saturday, 3pm. The place was all still dusty...

Look at the ceiling! If you haven't notice, the left ones are whiter than those on the right hand side.

In just 1.5hrs, at 4:30pm... video room was sealed, floors vacuumed and chairs arranged to get ready for evening service

All in 3.5 days! Unbelievable right???

Well, that was the story told from trusty resources. but above all, I DO believe its truly HE who knows all & is in control. I can't deny it... really.

Coincidence. You would say. To me, definitely not. 10 worr?! How can there be 10 coincidence at the same time, same place. Definitely no way.

It's a Miracle!
