Meeting Torture...

The variation of loud, sharp voices with an addition of different tones and variation in speed of speech in the small meeting room creates nothing but headaches. The many voices of different parties trying to speak up their thoughts, and make their stand is just taking too much brain processing power on me. However, this was a total different perception 2 days ago...

2 days ago... Though I was down with fever, sorethroat and cough, I blurly went to office, opened and read the email that there is going to be meeting on Thursday. At that moment in my mind, I was all readily prepared to spend about 4hrs in the room and was having some positive attitude that I'm going to put effort and learn something out of it. Yeap, long 4hrs like the previous meeting held but nervermind laa~ I can listen and learn more mah~

BUT as u can see and read, Here am I! Drafting my initial post... right here, right now... on Notepad! Were you disappointed? Well, what to do? I've got to put my mind into something else before my headache + dizziness worsen. Just 10mins off will do... (pls forgive me, though I did nothing wrong...)

Thank goodness it ended earlier than expected... 3hrs. 1hr of mercy! *phewww*

Now I understand that however talkative & noisy one is, at the end of the day... one will appreciate the calmness of a quietness that one could get. One would learn to LOVE the introvert side of oneself.

Alamak~ this is only one of the few that I attended... and I'm sure there's many more to come! Gosh...

My Turtle Family...

Introducing to you my turtle family... Ta da da daaa~

Clockwise from left (left pic): Boo (big), BooBoo (small), PunkHead, Crush & HairyButt.

Boo & BooBoo - If you have not noticed, this 2 cute softies are stuck together.

PunkHead - The greeny hair style gave him its cun-ted name.

Crush - Hey dude~ remember Nemo?

HairyButt - Look at this cute lil' fella's *ahemm* & you will un.

Oh~ there's also Tutu - The special, virtual one! (right pic). Originated from the world of Facebook :):)

Well well~ Let me tell you a story of how this cute, softy turtle family started...

Ahemmm ahemmm~ Long long ago, far far away... kekekkeee Well, not than long ago. I'm still young to tell this story ok?

Let's restart...

Turtle family birth in the month of Dec 2005. It was the year where my ex-company held a Christmas gift exchange party. We were to randomly pick a colleague's name & buy something for him/her. Vanessa picked my name and she bought Boo & BooBoo as a gift to me. My first impression when I opened the box was "turtle? why turtle?". She asked whether I liked the gift and I answered "Yeap~ it's cute" (with a big smile). but then in my heart I was like "...but why turtle?"

Anyways, since it was a soft toy, I decided to put it on my office desk as to show my appreciation. Not realising that from that on, many of my colleagues started to come & play with it. Seems as if they liked it more than I do. Don't know whether to pity Boo & BooBoo or what. They were so fascinated by it. I only hugged it everyday... but then my fellow colleagues did all sorts of things to my turtle man! They took photos of Boo & BooBoo with my Smiley stress ball, put my earphones beside that fella as if it was enjoying music, throw him around and even killed it once! So... is fascinated the right word? or bully!?

Boo & BooBoo was lonely until Crush came few months after that. Winny saw it at klcc & thought that I needed a handphone design of it. So there it is... Crush, 3rd member of the family. Crush was named so because so happened that Nemo was in the cinemas & I was really hyped about it. Crush was brought to office to accompany Boo & BooBoo & yeap as expected, there goes my dear Crush. It was injured once by my manager & I ordered him to fix the pityful fella. wahahahaaa~ job well done!

Come to the following year's Christmas, don't know why~ It's now my little sister's turn to get me the 4th member. HairyButt it is! Don't need to explain alot as it's name reveals it all already. hehehhh This four small little cuties accompanied me alot. Was really loving it as it kept me sane especially throughout my working period at Client's site. ;)

To cut the story short, PunkHead was added in not too long ago in August 2007. It was a Birthday present from Ken =) Guess he thought that I liked turtles alot cos he has been seeing me play with it nearly everyday at work. Make me paiseh only~ hehehhh Thanks anyway!

Lastly, not forgetting my dear Tutu. This special virtual one was added into Facebook as my fluff pet. Started playing with Facebook just less than a month ago. Didn't really find it interesting. Facebook is a Friendster-like thingy but more. You can send pokes, gifts, play games and even pet other friends fluff pets! Many things to keep you glued to it... that's if you have great imagination. As for me, its just a great place to kill time!

Well well, that's the story of how my 6 member turtle family came about. If you haven't noticed, all of it came in a form of gift from someone to me. Guessed Boo & BooBoo really made all of them thinking that I loved turtles aye! hehehh In all, I could only say that I was blessed to have a turtle family~ Thanks ppl :):)

Before I end... Just a pic for fun --> Turtle car! (definitely not mine!)

Back-Tracking

It's been quite a while. So much to tell and type, yet not knowing how... This post is the summary of all events in Sept!

Hope pictures tell a thousand words. So, here goes...

Changing into the Nerdy ME

*WACkK* myself for spending like nobody's business. Hair, food, clothes... since when I've become so spendthrift? GoODneSS! =(

Lesson learnt: Do NOT spend unneccessarily unless it is for de-stressing purposes! =p

One thing I did not regret... Well, it's something I have not spend on. It's just 2 photos which I rarely allowed Jelly to take with his h/p. Hmmm, getting specs is still one of the items in my pending list at least for now. Pending doesn't mean I won't buy, neither saying that I will! I'm trying to put it behind my mind & say "Its just a want, not a need."

Well, after all... it's just something that will make me look more nerdy and serious in disguise! Yikes~ Should I get it or not? Should I? Should I NOT?

The nerdy me~

September Weekends

Ahaa~!!! weekends... All I could say is that September weekends was so darn busy. Not with work... but parties! WaLaUwehH you could say. hahahaa Not by choice though. But whatever it is, I had great fun & was blessed. Eye opener to realise that you guys were all so knitted together... Moms having heart to heart talks, Dads having fun talks and laughing at jokes neverendlessly & not forgetting Children. Yeap... from as young as 2 years old~ eating, playing and wrestling with all the koko & jiejie!

Its a rare sight having to come across fun like this. Fun as in different generations... different genders having a great time under one roof!

Weird to say, but it suddenly dawned on me that Daddys can be so cun-ted... Letting away pride, ego & seriousness. Its just an amazement to see dads~ yeap...Dads having fun together! Yes, you read it... TOGETHER-GETHER! They can really chat on all sorts of topics other than those usual, normal boring ones like news, events, cars & etc. Never in my life I've seen dads, in general like this. They can just talk about anything man! Jokes, fun, work, sing oldies, talk serious stuff... you name it! They have it all! Cun aye~

Way to go... DADs, MOMs & KIDDYs!!!

8-9 September 2007

Gua Tempurung~ The Grand Tour! A 3.5 hour experience of being in a stone like zoo in the first 30mins. Learning about animals while walking from one platform to another, had some brief understanding of stalatites & staglamites... and errmm, seeing some formations which made some sort of wayang kulit and pregnant woman figure thingy. Hmmm~ nothing much interesting. All I remembered most was a monkey driving a MyVi!!!

However, from the 10th platform onwards... is where the adventure begins. At that moment, we didnt notice it was all dark until our guide told us to switch off all lights & all I could remember hearing was one loud and unanimous "Whoaaa!" from everyone. Walking in pitch dark caves with only torchlights could be scary. But then with my four bodyguards keeping an eye on me, I wasn't even near scared =p

The next 3hrs was a long walk across knee high underground rivers, getting stones stuck in the shoes, crawling on our knees, sliding down slopes & not forgetting "Careful your head!... your shoulder, your butt... Lower, loweerrr a little more!" pathetic warning shouts from me after the LoUD BONNNGGG incident that happened to my dear friend.

It was quite an experience. Not tiring. Just a lot of exercise and ever concious feeling to look out for each other. Not bad after all. Its a nice experience in whole.
